Pack correctly!

Main packaging guidelines for safe delivery.

Strapped parcels

Please do not attach the boxes to each other. Our couriers do not accept any strapped or foiled set of boxes for delivery. Place each product in a separate box and add unique labels to them.

Filling materials

To secure the safety of the product, it is mandatory to use proper quantity and quality filling material to protect the parcel during the sorting process and shipping.

Products in bags/sacs

If you ship products in bags, place them first in a cardboard box to prevent tearing and other damages that may occur during sorting.

Protruding parts

It is forbidden to send parcels that due to their shape and/or other characteristics like lack of packaging, protruding parts, sharp edges, and hidden dangers, might cause injuries and damage. Always choose a box of right dimensions to ensure successful shipping.

Protective packaging

If the product you wish to dispatch includes commercial packaging, place it into another box in addition to the commercial packaging to protect the product during the sorting process.

Unpacked products

Unpacked products are extremely dangerous and easy to get damaged during the sorting process. For this reason, the adequate packaging of the parcel to be shipped dispatched is always necessary.

Buckets, cans, and fire extinguishers

Parcels that cannot be sorted on the conveyor, including barrels, cans and/or cylinders containing liquids, as well as bagged parcels, can easily lose stability and fall off the conveyor belt. To prevent serious personal and/or material damage or any impairment of the parcel, it is compulsory to pack these items in a cardboard with filling materials.

Tyres

Place each tyre into a separate box with a separate label instead of strapping or foiling them together.

Label Placement

The label always must be attached to the upper longitudinal side of the parcel so that it remains well readable during the entire sorting process. When self-adhesive labels are used, they are not to be sticked upon the gap on the upper side of the box. Pay attention to this measure to prevent creases, peel-off and the text becoming unreadable.

Label Quality

When you print the labels, always perform quality control to ensure their readability: it is crucial that the text on the label does not get grainy or stripped. Always place the label on the upper side of the packaging material and do not let it get covered up by any other packaging materials.

Mixed Goods

Mixed goods in a box must always have the same type of packaging, like for example envelopes, and there must be an indication on the box referring to that it contains mixed goods, as illustrated below.

Usage of poor-quality Packaging Materials

During the sorting process, parcels travel on a conveyor belt and may undergo several physical impacts. To ensure the undamaged condition of the parcels it is crucial to use packaging materials of good quality.

One-way Pallets

If you dispatch one-way pallets, pay special attention to proper foiling and the placement of the label on a visible spot. Make sure that all the sides and the top of the pallet is wrapped in foil, so that the product will not get opened during the sorting process.

Pallets

If you ship a parcel of heavier than 40 kg, fasten it to a pallet of 80 cm × 120 cm base so that the maximum weight of the item is 600 kg/pallet, and its maximum height is 170 cm together with the pallet.
